"Working with a live band is something that's new for me," he tells Fuse backstage at the New Orleans festival. "Ever since I was first on the Jimmy Fallon show and I got to perform with The Roots, it was an element that I was like, 'Yo, I need to take this on into the future.' Me, I'm a perfectionist, I like to get everything right. Just the way my schedule's been, it's been so hectic, I haven't gotten the time to really build my ideal band for my set. Me and the Soul Rebels, we got great chemistry, it will be dope to do the festival here, but we're winging it! The people can't really tell that, but for us it's just a vibe."
