Creed Frontman Scott Stapp Reviews 'Creed' The Movie

The skit is called 'Can You Take Me to the Movies,' and it's absolutely hilarious

This is the kind of Internet gold to live for: Scott Stapp, frontman of the ultimate rock and roll band Creed, was asked to review the upcoming movie Creed for Funny or Die. In the clip, Stapp discusses the film as if it were a biopic about his band, and the mistakes it makes along the way. It's hilarious, and we wish we would've thought of it first.

He starts:

"So this week I checked out a new film called Creed. I say to myself, 'Finally, the epic tale of my band Creed is coming to the big screen.' As the movie Creed unfolded there wasn't much that resblemed in Creed the band. The main character is played by Michael B. Jordan. You know, interesting choice, we don't look much a like and the character's name is Creed, not Scott Stapp. Sometimes when I walk down the street people shout 'What's up, Creed?' so I guess a get it. This movie has a lot of boxing. One time I punched a guy from 311, but I never actually boxed."

It unfolds from there. Watch it above, then click through our list of the biggest-selling albums of all time.
