Watch Justin Bieber Perform 'Sorry' with the Roots on 'Jimmy Fallon'

The sorrowful performance transforms into yet another colorful Bieber show

Justin Bieber has understandably been promoting the heck out of his new album, Purpose, and after taking over Ellen all of last week, the pop superstar stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday (Nov. 17) to perform his latest single, "Sorry."

Starting off as a muted piano ballad, the "Sorry" take explodes after the first chorus into a full pop production, with house band the Roots supporting him onstage. Although the Biebs is joined by four backup dancers, he remains too busy crooning to show off any of his own moves.

That choreography will be displayed next year, when Bieber takes Purpose  on tour across North America. For now, "Sorry" bumps up to No. 3 on the Hot 100 chart, and Purpose is primed to become Bieber's sixth No. 1 album in the States.
