Tinashe Describes the 'Introspective' Appeal of Her Chance The Rapper Collabo

The "Player" singer says she was intrigued by the interesting take on partying for the new collab with Chance the Rapper and Snakehips

For her latest guest feature, "All My Friends" with Chance the Rapper and U.K. production duo Snakehips, Tinashe took a break from being "2 On" and got a little emo at the club. The Joyride singer told Fuse why she thinks listeners can relate to a track that boasts lyrics like, "All my friends are wasted / And I hate this club, man I drink too much."

"I think it's always interesting to hear a song that's about partying in kind of a negative way," she tells Fuse. "But not a fully negative way, but maybe more of an introspective way which I think is really, really interesting...I feel like a lot of people could connect to the song personally, and that's why I really connected to it and really enjoyed it."

Watch above for more from the "Player" songstress, including her refreshing experience of having a hands-off approach shooting the gorgeous, neon-tinged music video (below).
