Adele Shouts Out Kesha During 2016 BRIT Awards Winners Speech

The British songstress ended her acceptance speech with "I'd also like to take this moment to publicly support Kesha"

Who better to take home the very first award at the 2016 BRIT Awards than Adele? And whose voice could better make a change and help embattled singer Kesha than the 25 diva herself?

The "Hello" singer offered her support to Kesha while accepting the BRITs' first award of the night, British Solo Female Artist. She told the audience:

"I'd like to take a quick second just to thank my management and my record label for embracing the fact that I'm a woman and being encouraged by it. And I'd also like to take this moment to publicly support Kesha"

Adele beat Florence + The Machine, Jess Glynne, Laura Marling and Amy Winehouse for British Female Solo Artist.
