Zara Larsson on Growing Her Confidence: 'It Was Scary Standing Up to Middle-Aged Men'
Take a look at Zara Larsson's Twitter account and you'll see this girl has wisdom beyond her years. But the 18-year-old singer—whose latest single "Never Forget You" hit a new peak of No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 last week—tells us she wasn't always so sure of herself as a young artist.
The latest Fuse First artist tells us above about finding her voice:
"I have a couple of songs, like old songs, that I'm like, 'Why did I do that?' Also, to be honest, I feel like they probably weren't my favorite songs back then, but it was kind of scary to tell people that. It was scary to stand up in front of all these middle-aged men and just say, 'No. I don't want to do this.'"
Today, Larsson says she does have her voice and won't sing a song if her heart isn't in it.
