Son Little: Working With Mavis Staples was 'Surreal' Experience

Rising R&B star Son Little is still early in his career, but the singer/producer/songwriter (real name: Aaron Livingston) has already worked with some heavy hitter. Along with collaborating with the Roots, Son Little produced a four-song EP for iconic gospel singer Mavis Staples.

Son Little called working with Staples "surreal" while catching up with Fuse at the 2016 Firefly Music Festival. "It can’t be anything but surreal!" he exclaimed.
