#TBT: Beck Talks 'Guero' Album in 2005

In this vintage clip, the rocker reveals the meaning behind the album's title

It's time to take a trip down memory lane with Fuse! In this vintage clip from 2005, we spoke with Beck about the release of his sixth studio album, Guero. The Los Angeles rocker, who said the "songs float to the surface like a dead goldfish," told us:

"I don't know if I would say [if it's mature]. There's some pretty immature activities going on when we were making this. I think I'm still finding my footing, and with each album you're trying to figure it out and get it right."

Beck also revealed a fun fact about the album's title! It turns out that "guero" is Mexican slang for "white boy." Check out our Who Said It: Glenn Beck or Beck? quiz to see if you can tell the difference between the singer and the Libertarian television personality.
