Famous Advice: Megadeth Reveal Life-Changing Words from Alice Cooper

Rock and metal acts like Anthrax, Pop Evil and Shinedown share important pieces of advice they picked up early on

In Fuse's latest installment of Famous Advice, we chat with some of rock's biggest acts to find out what types of career advice they've picked up from fellow musicians.

Looking back on their younger days, Megadeth revealed the crucial words of guidance that legend Alice Cooper passed on: "I used to drink a bottle of whiskey a day—just be careful out there."

Other acts, like rock band Pop Evil, shared more lighthearted advice. They recalled a time when Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder advised them to stay away from retired NBA star Dennis Rodman...unless they were seeking a crazy party.
