Joey Bada$$: 'Mr. Robot' is Like 'The Matrix,' Acting is Like Filming a Music Video

Joey Bada$$ has already established his name in the rap world, and now the 21-year-old is ready to take on acting. In this Fuse interview, he reveals the process of snagging his current role as Leon on the popular USA series Mr. Robot.

"I kinda knew I had it from the first day, but I came back because they told me to do two more callbacks. And finally the third time was the charm, and I got it," he told us. The rapper also stated acting on Mr. Robot is similar to working on music videos, and says the hacker drama is "like the Matrix."
