Gary Clark Jr. Wants 'Good Vibes Only' in His Bus Studio: Watch

Don't even think about boarding the Austin musician's tour bus without some "good mojo"

While on the road for major festivals like Made in AmericaGary Clark Jr. admits that recording music at the same time hasn't always been easy.

"It's something I kind of struggled with, but I'm getting the flow together," the 32-year-old Austin native tells Fuse. "I got me a nice little lounge studio in the back of the bus, and it's good vibes only. Don't come in there unless you bringin' good mojo...I'm just in a creative zone right now."

Speaking of good vibes, Clark praised the positive atmosphere at Made in America, an event he's always down to be a part of.

"One of the main things I like about Made in America is that it's incredible how so many genres of music come together for this. And then to see the fans of the music all in one spot moving around—it's just a testament to how powerful this music stuff is."
