Sage the Gemini Wants to Be the First Artist to Please Everybody

"We all need someone or that one thing that helps us get to where we need to be at," says the young talent

Sage the Gemini just dropped his "Now and Later" video, a huge success with nearly a million views in the eight days it's been out. Fuse took the occasion to interview the 24-year-old HBK Gang member about the Tupac-inspired visual, social media, his new music and more.

For the upcoming Bachelor Party, the follow-up to 2014's debut album Remember Me, Sage the Gemini is prepping "anything you can think of," aiming for some serious "P.E.B.—pleasing everybody; I just made that up just now." In the video above, he explained:

"I'll drop this genre, then I'll drop me really rapping, then I'll do entertaining music, then I'll do strip club music, then I'll do, like, kids' music. They say you can't please everyone, but I'm gonna try to be the first."

Sage takes his connection with fans seriously. "If they feel like your song is good enough to be with them, then that just really says something," he said. "We all need someone or that one thing that helps us get to where we need to be at."
