Kehlani Talks Not 'Outweirding' Herself on 'SweetSexySavage'

After blessing us with her 2015 GRAMMY-nominated mixtape You Should Be HereKehlani finally dropped her debut album, SweetSexySavage, on January 27. Chatting with Fuse, the R&B-pop singer described the project as both cohesive and multifaceted.

"I just tried to keep it relaxed, and I didn't try to outweird myself," she explains. "What I tried to get people to realize is that all of us are 'all of the above.' For example, 'Do U Dirty,' most people are like, 'Oh, that's so savage,' but there's a lot of elements of 'I'm sorry' in it."
