Entire Dance Genre Will Head to Miami
Ultra Music Festival, Miami's 150,000-capacity weekend festival held annually in March, just announced the second phase (out of three) of its lineup, adding 144 more dance acts to the already swollen collection of talent. The festival is already sold out, so organizers don't even have to announce any more acts, but, like, if you've got it, flaunt it.
Benny Benassi, Busy P, DJ Shadow and Richie Hawtin are among the biggest names to be added. The festival is headlined by Tiesto, Kraftwerk, Justice, Avicii, David Guetta and Armin van Buuren, six of the biggest names in dance music. Ultra's always been known for surprise guests, though, so we're pretty sure that even more big names will pop up. (Daft Punk?) Fuse favorite Skrillex is already on the bill! Thank god.
One act that probably won't be there is Deadmau5, who delivered a YouTube screed against Ultra last year in which he said, "It's doing the same ***** thing every year," that has since been taken down. He blamed the outburst on severe depression.
One guy who probably will be there is this guy! In the video below! He's ready.
