Madonna vs. M.I.A.: Which Music Video Wins?

If I were Madonna, I’d be so pissed at M.I.A. right now. I invite her to the Super Bowl halftime show, and then the day my new single/music video drops, she goes ahead and unleashes an inarguably cooler video.

But I’m not Madonna, so instead I’m just excited to wake up to two new videos from two of my favorites.

Madonna’s brand-spanking new single is called "Give Me All Your Luvin’" and it’s definitely a love-it-or-hate it proposition depending on your devotion to Ms. Ciccone and your tolerance for unabashed repetitive cheese.

Even though it features verses from fellow empowered-ladies Nicki Minaj and M.I.A., most of the time the two rappers are just helping out with the song's half-irritating “Hey Mickey”-styled cheerleading chants.

The M.I.A. video, however, is a giddy delight. Maya files her nails while resting atop a car speeding along using just two wheels, and somehow that’s not even the coolest part of the video. Skip to 2:55 to catch an automotive stunt that’s so insane I don’t even have to tell you not to try it yourself. Let's just say this stuff seriously puts E-40 to shame.

Do you agree that the M.I.A. video trounces Madonna’s, or are you standing by the Material Girl through her thick and (unhealthily) thin times?
