HIP HOP: Wu-Tang Clansman Announces New Album
GZA just announced his new album Dark Matter, and it's apparently influenced by his love for quantum physics, the galaxy, space, stuff like that. The GZA said, "I will take a quantum leap and discuss the universe while taking us on a journey through deep space. Traveling at lightspeed from the galactic center of one galaxy to the farthest corners of another. ROCK: Jack White's First Side-Project Dropping DVD
The Raconteurs, Jack White's first side-project (before The Dead Weather and now Jack White solo) that hasn't put out an album in four years, is now releasing a live CD/DVD of a concert they played at the Montreaux Jazz Festival in 2008. It comes out June 18. [Consequence of Sound]

ROCK: Former QOSTA Bassist Pleads Innocent to Drug, Gun Charges
Nick Oliveri, the hard-partying and famously mercurial bassist of Queens of The Stone Age, has pleaded not guilty to charges related to domestic violence, firearm and drug offenses. The charges stem from an incident in which his girlfriend claimed he wouldn't let her leave his apartment. Oliveri could face up to 15 years in jail. [NME]
