Watch Fiona Apple Play New Song at SXSW!
Art-pop songstress Fiona Apple premiered a new song from her upcoming album (The Idler Wheel..., due in June) last night at NPR’s SXSW Stubbs BBQ Showcase.
Fiona being the idiosyncratic artist she is, she played a handheld percussion pipe while singing lyrics like, “My cheeks were reflecting the longest wavelengths / My brow was folded up and grazing my forehead.”
Even after one listen, I already feel like it is becoming lodged in my head. What can I say? Apple's music touches me to the core.
What do you think of the new Fiona Apple song? Do you think her next album will be another classic?
