One of the best moments of the Brooklyn show I saw this past winter from all-girl San Diego quartet Dum Dum Girls was the performance of "Coming Down," the narcotic slow dive from their latest album, Only in Dreams. The song just got a black-and-white video, and it's totally worth four minutes and 16 seconds of your time. In fact, perhaps twice that (hey, I watched it twice).
It's a strange twist on the classic, "Look directly at the camera and pout" treatment. Singer-guitarist Dee Dee does just that, as a random man and woman cut away at her go-to all-black, lace-adorned outfit. She comes out looking... well, awesome. Good look, Dee Dee. Go with that.
