Drake Releases "Take Care" and "HYFR" Videos
Fans of nature videos and pop music are presumably freaking out right now after Drake released his video for "Take Care" with Rihanna. Directed by French music video director Yoann Lemoine (Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream," Lana Del Rey's "Born to Die"), "Take Care" combines what I assume are Drake's two favorite things: slow-motion video of animals in motion and footage of Drake. We're digging the video, Drizzy, but Florence + the Machine still murdered you on your own track.
The YMCMB star also celebrated his Jewish roots with "HYFR," ("Hell Ya F**kin' Right") a re-creation of the 25-year-old's Bar Mitzvah. The video, shot at Miami's Temple Israel, opens with a 13-year-old Drake dancing and, even back then, dressed better than me. "HYFR" is surprisingly similar to my own Bar Mitzvah: The spread of bagels, applesauce and matzoh balls, middle-aged people awkwardly dancing, DJ Khaled pretending to understand Hebrew and Lil Wayne destroying an innocent table with a skateboard. Ah, memories. Check it out below.
