Game ft. French Montana & 2 Chainz: "Mean Muggin'"
Thanks to the brilliantly named L.A. Leakers, we can listen to this unexpectedly awesome track from Game's California Republic mixtape. He hasn’t sounded this at ease (or been this fun to listen to) in a minute. So check it out! [XXL]

Kelly Rowland ft. Future & Bei Maejor: "Need A Reason"
Rowland's bedroom R&B ballad "Need A Reason" is her contribution to the Think Like A Man soundtrack. After hearing her silky come-hither lyrics, many listeners will, indeed, be left thinking like a man. [Essence]

Field Music: "Rent"
No, this isn't the Brit band's take on the Broadway musical but rather its cover of Pet Shop Boys' lovely, sad song about the materially satisfying, yet empty, life of a kept woman. Eschewing the original's synths in favor of wonky pop, Field Music ace this by making it their own. [Pitchfork]

Monica ft. Wale: "Take A Chance"
One of the two voices behind 1998's No. 1 hit "The Boy Is Mine" is back with a bid for semi-relevancy, and to that end Monica has paired her synthy R&B with a surprisingly gentle verse from Wale.

The Great American Canyon Band: "Burn"
For a band with such a specific name they're actually just a husband and wife duo from Chicago who make small, pretty country-folk tunes. And there's nothing wrong with that, but maybe they should be called Ma and Pa Chi-Town instead. [Stereogum]
