Check Out Smashing Pumpkins' Cryptic New Album Cover

It's been five years since Smashing Pumpkins (aka Billy Corgan and whoever happens to be in the studio that day) have released their last proper album. But now we've got some gothic cover art (above) and a track listing to replace nebulous rumors about the June 19 release of Oceania.

As we mentioned earlier, Oceania is a standalone project within the larger concept of the band's 44-song project Teargarden By Kaleidyscope, which has been released track-by-track online. "I reached a point where I saw that the one-song-at-a-time idea had maxed itself out," Corgan told Billboard.com last September. "I just saw that we weren't reaching the sort of casual person who still gets their information from traditional sources. So I thought, 'What do I need to do?' and then I thought, 'OK, I'll go back to making an album.'"

Go back, he did. Track listing below.

Track listing:

1. “Quasar”
2. “Panopticon”
3. “The Celestials”
4. “Violet Rays”
