FUSE TV - Elvis Presley Crypt Auction Canceled

Your chance at creepy Elvis memorabilia has just been reduced by one, as the Hollywood Reporter announced that the King's crypt has been pulled from a recent auction after fan outrage.

Julien's Auctions was set to sell the Memphis, Tenn. tomb over the weekend at its "Music Icons" auction. The company said it won't sell the tomb "until Forest Hills [cemetery] finds a plan that best suits the interests of the fans while respecting and preserving the memory of Elvis Presley."

When reached for comment, Tales from the Crypt's Cryptkeeper just said, "Don't Be Ghoul," "(Let Me Be Your) Deddy Bear" and "It's Now or Sever" and laughed maniacally.

Hopefully you at least picked up a Johnny Cash to-do list as a consolation prize.
