We caught up with DMX, Jim Jones, Prodigy, Jadakiss, Hot 97 DJ Peter Rosenberg and Guerilla Union's Chang Weisberg at the 2012 Rock the Bells press conference to find out all the details about the upcoming hip hop festival.
"Rock the Bells is really the only true hip hop music festival," said Rosenberg. "It represents all sides of the culture. I've never had a bad time at a Rock the Bells show for a second."
DMX was a bit more succinct: "Energy. Raw f**kin' energy."
Despite the already impressive lineup of Nas, Wiz Khalifa and DMX, Weisberg also teased that an even bigger name was going to be announced. "When the time is right, there's going to be an announcement that people just go, 'Oh my God.' If you aren't already going, you better go, cause if you don't, you're going to kick yourself in the ass for missing what you will never, ever see again."
