See 2 Chainz Album Art "Curated" By Kanye West's Design House

Remember earlier this year when Kanye West took to Twitter soliciting "anyone who would like to reach out" to apply to work for his new design house, DONDA? Well now we're seeing some of the fruits of that labor.

"Mercy" rapper 2 Chainz enlisted the help of DONDA for his Based On A T.R.U. Story cover art. 2 Chainz told Billboard, "When it came time to develop the imagery for my project, I trusted [West] and his team at DONDA to get the job done and communicate my sentiments." Those sentiments exactly? Two chains. No, really—the cover art is a photo of two chains. Tity Boi went on to explain, "This is curated art. The Louvre of rap."

Shot by photographer Fabien Montique (Vanity Fair, The New York Times) the Based On A T.R.U. Story cover keeps things simple—super simple: it's a crisp shot of two gold chains against a black backdrop with the album title subtly situated on the bottom left in the familar white and red G.O.O.D. Music font.

If DONDA can do all this with an album cover, we wonder what they're going to do for the MTV awards. Let us know what you think about 2 Chainz cover art in the comments.
