Carly Rae Jepsen might be in the midst of a nude photo scandal, and we're not talking about the fake one. Vancouver police have been investigating the unauthorized use of a computer and cell phone belonging to the "Call Me Maybe" star, and much of the Internet is speculating about what exactly might be stored on those electronics.
After a sex tape featuring a Carly Rae look-alike surfaced on the Internet earlier this month, the Canadian singer shot down allegations on Twitter, calling the tape "ridiculous." But now Carly's real personal files may be in jeopardy.
“The Vancouver police were contacted in mid-March regarding allegations of cyberhacking in relation to Ms. Jepsen," Constable Lindsey Houghton of Vancouver Police Department told Fuse. "We began an investigation and uncovered allegations of the unauthorized use of a computer, theft of telecommunications and criminal harassment in relation to Ms. Jepsen."
Houghton was able to confirm one suspect, an adult male, but could not confirm what kind of files may or may not have been hacked. Houghton continued, "These are only allegations...no arrests have been made."
