Chris Cornell, Drake Join Jay-Z's Made In America Festival
Budweiser's Jay-Z-fronted Made In America festival happening in Philly on Sept. 1 and 2 just got its full lineup, and it's pretty damned well rounded. The Saturday portion, which was lighter on the lineup when Phase One was announced in May, now has marquee names in Drake, Run-D.M.C., Chris Cornell, Jill Scott, The Hives and a set from DJ Shadow. Those performers join Pearl Jam, Odd Future and Santigold.
On Friday, better known to Made In America as Jay-Z Day, Gary Clark Jr. will join the fun alongside previously announced acts including Skrillex, D'Angelo, Calvin Harris, Rick Ross's Maybach Music Group, Janelle Monae and Dirty Projectors.
Looks like that new commercial with Hova flaunting the fest's diversity and inclusion and awesomeness was prophetic. Head to Life and Times for the full lineup.
