Odd Future to Release 4 Albums in 2012
When you have more than a dozen people in your crew, there's a good chance that someone will be working on something at any given time. But thankfully, Odd Future was nice enough to (sorta) collate their efforts on their website today, announcing the release of four albums, including Wolf, Tyler, the Creator's follow-up to last year's Goblin.
On August 1, Domo Genesis will release No Idols, his collaborative effort with hip hop producer the Alchemist featuring Earl Sweatshirt and Action Bronson. Then on October 2, Mellowhype aka Left Brain and Hodgy Beats, will release their new album Numbers followed by November's release of Wolf. Finally, Mike G announced plans to release his debut album later this year, though no title or release date has been given.
Odd Future Records will be equally busy, as the label preps the October 9 release of hardcore band Trash Talk's fourth album 119.
The group is set to embark on the Camp Flog Gnaw tour in September, culminating with the Odd Future Carnival on September 30, which terrifies and intrigues us in equal measure. So yeah, if you're sick of hearing about Odd Future, you're gonna want to turn off your computer for at least the next six months or so.
