Jack White tapped Hype Williams—the hip hop aesthetic-creator behind videos from 2Pac, Notorious B.I.G., Missy Elliott, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj and others—for the video for his Blunderbuss single "Freedom at 21." If you like action-horror movies (aka grindhouse films) like Quentin Tarantino's Death Proof, then you'll dig the upcoming music video, which pairs clips of White shredding riffs with footage of a speeding muscle car. Watch the teaser above. The full video arrives July 16.
White is also scheduled for a public Q&A with GRAMMY Museum Executive Director Bob Santelli. "A Conversation With Jack White" is set for August 10 at the Clive Davis Theater at the GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles. General tickets sales start August 1 via the museum's website.
ALSO, Third Man Records wants you to know that the B-sides to Blunderbuss' three singles to date—"Machine Gun Silhouette," a cover of U2's "Love Is Blindness" and "Inaccessible Mystery"—are now available via digital retailers. See, he's not totally vinyl crazy.
