Listen to Bob Dylan's New Song, "Early Roman Kings"
On Bob Dylan's upcoming album Tempest, the theme seems to be "expect the unexpected." After learning that one of the tracks on Dylan's forthcoming 35th studio album is a 14-minute song about the Titanic (including a Leonardo DiCaprio name drop), today we're hearing the first rumblings of a new song, "Early Roman Kings." And it's coming to us via a two-minute trailer for Cinemax's drama "Strike Back."
Fans can hear the bluesy riffs of "Early Roman Kings" behind scenes of explosions, dramatic muffled whispers and a whole bunch of shootouts. Not exactly the way we imagined first hearing new Bob Dylan music, but he's not exactly the most traditional artist: Dylan recently told Rolling Stone that Tempest is an "anything goes [album], and you just gotta believe it will make sense."
Listen to Bob Dylan's "Early Roman Kings" below, and let us know what you think in the comments.
