In Taylor Swift's new video for her mega-hit Red single "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," the 22-year-old proves yet again that she has a never-ending supply of adorableness, and she's not afraid to use it. In a one-shot take (that took 17 screw-ups to finally get right), Taylor leads us through her apartment and into cute vignettes of her past relationship. We finally end up at a party back at Taylor's where a band dressed in plushie animal costumes (why not?) help Swift celebrate what might be the most cheerful breakup ever.
Director Declan Whitebloom (who worked with Taylor before for her "Mean" video) captures the spirit of Swift's new, more mature take on life and relationships: Instead of longing for the boy next door a la "You Belong With Me," Taylor lets the party come to her. Atta girl! Our little singer-songwriter is growing up.
