A week after asking for submissions, Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon selected Italian artist Giulio Rossi as the winner of his tattoo contest, which called for designs inspired by the TV series, Northern Exposure (a show which also inspired the name "Bon Iver"). That tattoo was designed in the style of Czech Art Nouveau painter Alphonse Mucha and depicts a Northen Exposure character named Cicely, who, in the show, “transforms a gold rush village into a cultural place with one single dance in a tavern.”
The winning design is pictured below. What do we think?
