This morning, news broke that Lil Wayne was hospitalized for "seizure-like" symptoms. Weezy spent several hours in a Texas hospital before being released. Thankfully, the symptoms were the result of a severe migraine and dehydration, and not something more serious. From a statement released to MTV News:
"Lil Wayne was successfully released from the hospital after being treated for a severe migraine and dehydration," his rep said in a statement to MTV News. "He is at home on doctor-mandated rest and will return to work soon. He appreciates all of his fans for their support and love."
Rest up and feel better, Weezy. And maybe use the time off to practice "Take Me Out to the Ballgame?"
