LOS ANGELES, CA - NOVEMBER 29: Rapper/actor Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson attends the Los Angeles media day workout on November 29

Because he's not busy enough rapping, acting, earning boxing promoter stripes and beefing with everyone from Floyd Mayweather to Chief Keef, 50 Cent is now working on a cable TV drama for Starz.

Entitled Power, the hour-long series is about a "nightclub owner who skirts the line between legitimacy and criminality." (That's option #17 when scripting a cable TV pilot.)

Fif is pairing with a writer whose credits include The Good Wife and The Bernie Mac Show as well as two of the guys he worked with on Freelancers, the roundly ignored film he made with Robert De Niro earlier this year. 50 will serve as exec producer on Power, which hasn't yet begun production. But if we're lucky, this means he'll start beefing with people in the cable TV world (RuPaul? Andy Cohen?!) just to mix things up in his life.
