The Illuminati—that shadowy, quasi-fictional cabal controlling the thoughts and behavior of us all—has been getting a lot of press lately. Last week, a trailer reportedly for Kanye West's "Cruel Winter" was released (and subsequently debunked), featuring George H.W. Bush discussing the "New World Order," a frequent Illuminati talking point. On Sunday night's season premiere of The Cleveland Show, entitled "Menace II Secret Society," Kanye, Nicki Minaj, Bruno Mars, will.i.am and Questlove made guest appearances as part of the Illuminati, which will inevitably cause conspiracy theorists to continue wasting their time proving its existence in hip hop.
Reprising his role as Kenny West, Kanye leads the shady group, only to have his ego blast out of control and taken down by his peers... and a polka band. Yeah, just watch it for yourself.
