Top 40 Wildcards: How Katy Perry and fun. Got Back on Top
We give fans the chance to vote for their favorite music video of the year in Fuse's Top 40 of 2012. And even though fan armies from far and wide come out in full force to vote for their favorites, sometimes they just don't make it through. But we hear you, fanatics! Hence our trusty Wildcard system, which allows those acts who were eliminated with the most votes a second chance at taking home the gold.
The Wildcard brings back the acts who got the most votes but couldn't clench their initial battle: four acts from Round 1 return and two come back from Round 2. From there, it's all fair game and may the best pop star win.
This year, the Wildcards who made it all the way through are Katy Perry's "Part of Me" and fun.'s "We Are Young." After being eliminated in Rounds 1 and 2, now they're sitting pretty in the Final Four (alongside The Wanted's "Glad You Came" and Christina Aguilera's "Your Body"). Side note: What if the presidential election worked this way? #terrifying
Round 5 is almost over and the two final music videos will go head-to-head. Will Katy Perry's KatyCats and fun.'s fans come out again to rally for them the way they did in the earlier rounds? It's up to you guys, so get to voting.
