Cat Power Spoofs Her Onstage Breakdowns in 'Funny or Die' Video
Heading into a performance from oft-erratic, emotionally-unhinged songwriter Cat Power, you've got to be prepared for anything. Unless you're a second-grader and Chan Marshall is visiting for music time.
"I think I've made it very clear, no hand-dancing," Cat Power tells the beaming schoolteacher right off the bat. It goes south from there, with Marshall telling the confused kids, "Don't ever sing, always respect the performer," and asking everyone to turn away and quit judging her.
We won't spoil the ending, but we'll say it's ... emotional. (And it involves pudding.)
