As a Christmas gift to her loyal Little Monsters, Lady Gaga unveiled some big news for 2013: There's a Lady Gaga documentary in the works! The as-yet-untitled film will detail the wild world of Gaga as well as the making of her upcoming album, ARTPOP.

With Terry Richardson—the auteur behind her 2012 photo book—at the helm, Gaga promised the #LadyGagaMovie will give an intimate perspective into "my life, the creation of ARTPOP + you!" So you can expect not only to learn something about Mother Monster and her album, but yourself in the process. #ZENPOP

After thanking her fans for their ARTPOP patience, Gaga threw some props toward photographer-turned-director Richardson on Twitter: "I love you @Terry_World thank you for believing in me and my fans, I have looked up to you and your work for so long, its a dream come true!"

Although Richardson has manned a few music videos, this documentary will be his directorial debut. Further details on the flick are murky. For instance, we still don't know whether this film will hit theaters, TV screens or just pop up as a bonus DVD on expanded editions of ARTPOP.

As for me, I'm gunning for a 3D IMAX release: I wanna see that goofy-looking human motorcycle apparatus projected onto a screen the size of a basketball court.
