Paramore Announce Title, Release Date of New Album
Given that the world doesn't end in a few weeks, there are a whole bunch of albums we're looking forward to next year. (Stay tuned for that post.) One of those releases is Paramore's much anticipated fourth album, which the band has revealed will drop April 9.
The new album, Paramore, is the follow-up to 2009's Brand New Eyes. In 2010, guitarist Josh Farro and drummer Zac Farro left the band, making Paramore the first album featuring the three remaining members—lead singer Hayley Williams, bassist Jeremy Davis and guitarist Taylor York.
The band shared on their website, "The whole making of this album was a rediscovering of ourselves as a band and as friends. It was a process that allowed us the freedom to explore new territory artistically and to liberate ourselves as musicians, singers, as people! Sincerely, we feel that the best way to give it a name is just to call it what it is. This album is us."
