Killswitch Engage Unveil New Album Title
After a decade-long absence, singer Jesse Leach--the voice behind Killswitch Engage's 2002 LP Alive or Just Breathing--is re-joining the Grammy-nominated Massachusetts rockers for their next release. And now that album, their sixth, has a name: Disarm The Descent will drop April 2 via Roadrunner Records. Its first single, "In Due Time," arrives digitally on February 5.
Leach reunited with the band in January 2012, then Killswitch embarked on a tour celebrating the 10th anniversary of Alive or Just Breathing. He's confidant that the band are now at the top of their game...
"To me this is by far my best vocal performance, much thanks to Adam's guidance and faith in my abilities," said Leach. "From the music, to the lyrics, to the artwork, we are all proud of what we have accomplished... I am very grateful to be where I am in life, back in an amazing band with a record we are all excited for the world to hear. Thanks to all the fans for their warm welcome back and their undying love for Killswitch Engage."
