Destiny’s Child announced their long-awaited comeback just yesterday, promising their first new song in eight years, "Nuclear." AND IT’S ALREADY HERE!!
The "independent women" haven’t missed a beat taking neo soul to 2013, updating their smooth harmonies with Pharrell Williams' slick production. The track has a chemically-charged metaphor (“It’s just evolution / We’re just getting better / When the two become one, on a quantum level / It’s nuclear.”) and Beyonce, Kelly, and Michelle (who co-wrote the track with James Fauntleroy and Lonny Bereal) each take a verse.
“Nuclear” is set to be included on DC's upcoming Love Songs compilation. Rumors have been swirling that Bey will be joined by DC during her Super Bowl performance in February, though that's yet to be confirmed. BUT PLEASE LET IT BE TRUE!!
