After countless sightings of the ex-couple looking like they were back together, we now have some kind of confirmation: Rihanna finally admitted to Rolling Stone that she and Chris Brown have rekindled their romantic relationship.

Rihanna graces the cover of the new issue of the mag, and inside she reveals what made her decide to go public with their reconciliation. "I decided it was more important for me to be happy. I wasn't going to let anybody's opinion get in the way of that." She continues, "Even if it's a mistake, it's my mistake."

Despite Chris' many public outbursts since the couple's 2009 domestic dispute -- his dustup with Drake in June of 2012, the tattoo he got on his neck that many thought resembled a battered woman and Chris telling his overweight fans to "get their fat a--es on a treadmill" (among other things) -- Rihanna claims that their relationship is different now. "We don't have those types of arguments anymore. We talk about sh-t. We value each other. We know exactly what we have now, and we don't want to lose that."

So what about what we're all thinking? What if Chris Brown hits Rihanna again? The "We Found Love" singer stands her ground: "That's just not an option. I can't say that nothing else will ever go wrong. But I'm pretty solid in the knowing that he's disgusted by [his attack]."
