As the gun control battle rages on following the Newtown shootings last month, some have viewed anti-gun control forces with disdain. Others champion what they consider a Second Amendment right to buy firearms and avoid the United States of Hitler from regulating this right in any way. Then there's a select class of people—comprised entirely of Ted Nugent—that just go ahead and compare all gun owners to revolutionary civil rights icon Rosa Parks because, well, Ted, you tell 'em:
"There will come a time when the gun owners of America, the law-abiding gun owners of America, will be the Rosa Parks and we will sit down on the front seat of the bus, case closed," Nugent told conservative news site WND. Though generally, if you flash a gun, you can pretty much sit wherever you want, right? But let's move on.
Under the headline "Ted Nugent Unloads" (HA?), your foremost musical defender of freedom took aim (see how easy it is?) and fired back at critics hoping to enact new gun regulation laws and the media that supports this. “If you were attempting to write an offensive script to a new Planet of the Apes movie, I couldn’t come up with a dumber and [more] unbelievable insanity than our government and our media is perpetrating on the American public,” Nugent said.
