Super stars Beyonce and Kelly Clarkson were both in Washington DC today to perform at President Obama's 2013 inauguration. The first American Idol winner started things off with a soulful and powerful rendition of "My Country, 'Tis of Thee." We got chills! President Obama was clearly moved.
At the end of the ceremony, Beyonce, looking graceful as always and backed by the U.S. Marine Band, performed the National Anthem. Even the First Lady got teary-eyed. At one point the singer took off her earpiece to really hit those high-range notes.
