Demi Lovato Confuses & Teases Us With "Heart Attack" Comeback
Demi Lovato had a major hit when she wanted to "Give Your Heart a Break." Now, she's ready for full force "Heart Attack" ...at least we think.
In a somewhat confusing report, Billboard said that the former Disney star will make her musical comeback with uptempo new single "Heart Attack," said to be "a celebration of life and love."
Hold up...a song titled "Heart Attack" celebrating love? Confusing, but we're down. And hoping more details come before its March 4 release. Lovato did give us some insight to her upcoming album and sound with a quick video, though.
"For a while, I could tell that when people would talk to me, they knew my story," she said in the clip, likely referring to past demons, including self-harm. "I think I've opened up more on this album. My life began to evolve and I started to grow. These are songs about the celebration of life and how rewarding it can be."
The vid moves to a seven-second high-pitched, Skrillex-esque build-up that succumbs to a single guitar strum. Leaving us, once again, confused about where her sound is going. Crazy EDM mixed with acoustic guitar?
Despite the confusion, you're sure intriguing us, Ms. Lovato. We'll be eagerly awaiting March 4. Get the video below:
