FUSE TV - Best Coast Cover Roy Orbison's "Crying"

Best Coast singer-songwriter Bethany Cosentino has four very notable influences: '90s pop-punk like Green Day and blink-182; sun-kissed '60s rock n' roll like the Beach Boys and the Beatles; and earlier '50s stuff like Roy Orbison. Also: Her cat Snacks. The latter two come together in Best Coast's cover of Orbison's heartbreaking ballad "Crying." Snacks is on backup vocals, er, meows at the 2:20 mark.

Expect more from Best Coast soon, too: SPIN reports the duo, also featuring guitarist-bassist Bobb Bruno, have a new EP coming up. They'll also release a Record Store Day 7-inch with Cosentino's dad sitting in on drums.
