FUSE TV - Beth Ditto Arrested for Disorderly Conduct

Gossip’s frontwoman Beth Ditto is a certified rock star (um, have you heard her wailing on their breakout track, “Standing in the Way of Control”?). But, like any true rock star, she had to have her brush with the law at some point. Ditto’s time finally came this weekend.

According to a report by the Willamette Week (a weekly Portland, OR newspaper…because, you know, all the rock stars are partying in Portland these days), the Gossip frontwoman was arrested early Saturday morning for disorderly conduct.

The paper interviewed a witness at the bar who said the punk princess was cut off from drinking early Saturday morning because she appeared intoxicated.

The source added she left the bar, "walked out in the middle of the street, threw off her shoes and purse and screamed 'Obama! Obama!'" as her friends tried to put her in a car. We admit that we're laughing, just a little bit.

That led to “10-12 cars” coming to the scene (slow night for crime in Portland?) and arresting Ditto.

The “Get a Job” singer was booked for second-degree disorderly conduct and eventually released on her own recognizance. A court date is pending, but here's her booking report if you're into that kind of thing.
