We haven't heard too much about Eminem's upcoming album since he announced it (via a special edition of a Detroit Tigers hat) back in October. But now long-time collaborator Dr. Dre has given us a status update. Thanks, dude.
"Em is finishing up his project," Dre told Power 106. "And for me, man, I've just gotten inspired again to go back into the studio." Hmm... does that mean we can expect a collabo or two from the duo on the album? And what about Dre's long-awaited album Detox? " I'm just really having fun with life and having fun with being creative and trying new and different things with myself, just trying to stay active." Ok then.
Shady Records president Paul Rosenberg told Billboard in February that the "Lose Yourself" rapper was "far into the process" of recording his still untitled eighth studio album. "It’s safe to say that it will be [released] post-Memorial Day at some point, but we’re not exactly sure when. We’ve got some dates locked in for him to perform live in Europe in August, so we’re trying to see what else lines up."
