"Climax" Writer Elijah Blake Freestyles Over "Started From the Bottom"
Roc Nation signee Elijah Blake has already had massive success writing and singing with others—he's the brains (and pen) behind Usher's "Climax" and has sang hooks for Rick Ross and Keyshia Cole.
Yesterday, we told you about Melanie Fiona's version of Drake's "Started From the Bottom" and now it's Blake's turn. While Melanie stays faithful to the original, Blake uses the sultry track as a springboard to sing his own verses, retaining certain lines but ensuring this version is wholly his own.
