UPDATE: Justin Timberlake himself confirmed there's a forthcoming sequel to The 20/20 Experience at his album release party, but he wouldn't comment on the release date.
As he preps for the official release of his much anticipated The 20/20 Experience (out tomorrow), Justin Timberlake's been everywhere lately: Saturday Night Live, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (for a whole week) and SXSW, to name a few places. If you're a little JT'd out, too bad. There's even more 20/20 headed our way.
JT's pal and Roots drummer Questlove took to the Okayplayer.com message board to reveal that a sequel to the album will be out in November. "Spoiler alert," he wrote, "20/20 Vol 2 comes out in Nov. (10 songs now.... 10 songs later = 20 vision)."
?uestlove didn't drop any other hints about JT's new new stuff, but maybe we can expect some more Jay-Z on the upcoming tracks? When Timberlake stopped by 106 & Park recently, he let us know the "Suit & Tie" pair have quite a few songs in the bag already.
"I was with [Timbaland] and we were working on some stuff for Miss Beyonce. She made the mistake of letting [Jay-Z] and I have another room at the studio. So, actually—I don't want to give too much away—but we've done a lot of songs together. So hopefully those will find a way to see the light of day."
He's gone from the music scene for seven years and then he drops two albums within nine months? Justin Timberlake should go on hiatus more often.
