Snoop Dogg Stars in New Kung-Fu Video Game

Snoop Dogg/Lion is finally getting the kung-fu blaxploitation video game treatment he deserves. The 41-year-old rapper revealed his "personal reincarnation as Snoop Lion" is being turned into a video game called Way of the Dogg.

The forthcoming game combines hip hop and martial arts fighting to create "a beat-matching combat experience," which we assume is at least 10 times cooler than PaRappa the Rapper (despite his recent 50 Cent cosign).

Developed by two British gaming companies, Way of the Dogg is set to drop April 23 on Xbox, Playstation, iOS and Android. And in what is surely a total coincidence, April 23 is also the day his debut reggae album Reincarnated (which features Drake, Rita Ora and Chris Brown) drops.

You can watch a behind-the-scenes clip of the game—which incredibly enough shows Snoop shouting out "goddammit!" as virtual Snoop gets kicked in the face—below.
